This year’s Alianait theme, Pisiit!! Traditional songs, drum dancing, performance art, and story telling celebrates the living voices of Indigenous cultures through music, storytelling, performance, and art. At Alianait Arts Festival 2026, Inuit artists from across Inuit Nunaat come together alongside Sámi and Māori participants in a vibrant cultural exchange that bridges generations, traditions, and communities. From ancient vocal traditions to contemporary artistic expression, Alianait invites audiences into unforgettable experiences where local and international artists meet, collaborate, and celebrate the strength and beauty of Indigenous culture.
