Alianait 2026 is set to kick off with a renewed focus on showcasing world-leading Indigenous talent from across the globe. Over the course of the weekend, artists from Inuit Nunangat, Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland), Sápmi, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and beyond will gather in Iqaluit for performances, workshops and community events. The festival will feature pisiit singers from across the Arctic, Inuit games, artist talks and opportunities for audiences to connect with visiting artists. We will also come together for a community feast that celebrates the importance of sharing food, knowledge and culture. Known as the world's circumpolar stage, Alianait continues to create a space where Indigenous artists can meet, collaborate and share their work with northern audiences.
